What is indoor and how is it different? (see video below)

Indoor is played on a hard court surface with 6 players per team. Courts are usually the size of a basketball court but can vary based on venue. Indoor uses international field hockey rules with the primary difference being that the ball can NOT be lifted at all - not even a bounce except on a corner shot. Indoor is a great way to improve technical skills and ball control. The skills you learn in indoor show on the turf field in the spring and fall. Great way to grow as a player.
