Covid-19 Safety Protocols
OMEGA FIELD HOCKEY SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PROGRAMS 2021 (updated 2.7.2021)
- PRIOR TO PRACTICE, CLASS, CLINIC OR ANY COMPETITION
- ALL players and coaches will be required to complete the Health Screening PRIOR to attending. The health screening form is completed in TeamSnap and is held on record for 90 days for OMEGA FH CLUB. The form is available for completion 8 hours ahead of scheduled event
- OMEGA FH Club will conduct health screenings for players that did not complete the online form prior to practice. These players will be pulled aside (6 feet apart) and will answer the questions on the health screening. This proces will delay the start of pratice for these players only.
- We will take attendance EVERY practice.

- DURING INDOOR OR OUTDOOR PRACTICES, CLASSES, CLINICS OR ANY COMPETITION
- ALL PLAYERS & COACHES
- All players and coaches must wear masks for the duration of practices (OUTSIDE PRACTICES – players will NOT be required to wear masks while in play, players will need to wear masks when on break or in a huddle – this is for outside events and practices only)
- Coaches will manage social distancing and will be 6 feet or more apart from players at all times
- All players will be monitored to social distance when not in active play
- Players will NOT touch any equipment (ie balls, cones, etc)
- All players and coaches will have access to hand sanitizer
- When entering the indoor facility, each team will be assigned a section of the facility to place their items (all players will remain 6 feet apart)
- When having outside practice, players will have a section of the outside facility
- There is NO sharing of equipment or water
- LEAGUES & TOURNAMENTS
- For any league play or tournaments, we will abide by the facility and tournament organizers rules
- Expect:
- Limited or NO spectators for outside events or practices
- For tournaments, there are NO spectators for outside practices. Limited or NO spectators for inside events or practices
- For the 2021 indoor season, there are NO spectators for practice, clinics, etc.
- Spectators to wear masks at all times (inside or outside)
- Spectators will need to remain 6 feet apart and will likely NOT be able to sit on bleachers. Bring your own chairs
- Limited or NO spectators for outside events or practices
